Stay safe

Hello IRG Clients, colleagues, and friends,

We are all adjusting to a new way of living and working and the IRG is no different. We taking this time to consider how our safe in-person learning environments that we are known for, might be able to translate online.  Until then, we are working remotely. As per usual, we’re available by phone. In order to promote and encourage social distancing, we are available to meet clients through video conferencing technologies.

We understand that these are uncertain times and priorities continue to shift, sometimes daily. We are thinking about how Indigenous communities and organizations will be impacted. Being able to provide supports, where communities request it, in a culturally appropriate and sensitive way is just as important now as it was before. As such, the IRG is committed to contributing to Indigenous cultural safety in any way we can. Some of you may have new opportunities to learn new skills or take on a new project. Others may still need to fulfil existing obligations related to your role with Indigenous sector. Either way, we look forward to working with you soon.

Until then practice good self-care and look out for one another.

Gunul’sheesh.
