Education for Reconciliation
The wealth of knowledge provided in this Indigenous Cultural Competence course was rich and textured with relevant examples, beautiful anecdotes, and great explanations.
Reconciliation is a very heavy subject and you did such an amazing keynote of sharing some history and awareness to many attending this event. Your talk was inspirational and needed, so thank you.
I absolutely loved the Indigenous Cultural Competence & Humility course. I feel so empowered to make a difference with my new knowledge and to continue my learning journey with humility. I was so motivated to keep progressing from section to section because it was so well done and so enlightening.

Reconciliation starts with agreement that something needs to change – a shared agreement that we need to close the gaps of health inequities and need to stop the racism and exclusion of Indigenous peoples. Reconciliation starts with literacy, building knowledge about the strengths of Indigenous peoples, then moves into action to bring others along with you. And finally changing whole systems. And yes, we can do this if we choose.
